Trend Steppin' With Dorothy Perkins

There's nothing we're more guilty of than wearing an outfit once and then not touching it with a barge pole for at least another 6 months, because you know, that's just how it goes... right? Well, I was set a little style challenge by Dorothy Perkins to style this staple skinny jeans & bodysuit combo 3 different way, simply by changing the shoes! Keep scrolling to read about all three looks!

Adding a pop of colour has always been my safe way of easing from Winter to Spring without feeling like I have absolutely nothing to wear in my wardrobe. These gorgeous pink court heels are a sure way to brighten up your outfit in an instant. They're perfect for dressing up a casual day outfit, like I've done here or simply just adding that little bit of sass where you need it. I teamed it with my Topshop jacket I bought a couple of years ago to add that extra 'wow' factor. I thought it might have been a little overpowering, but I think it worked quiet well. Woop!

My second outfit was put together with the idea of going for casual drinks after work with. You can take this from AM to PM with ease and by mixing it up with a simplistic black lace up heel, it's always going to be a winner that you feel confident about! I added my super cute Skinnydip bag, which is my little go to item on a night out. An outfit doesn't always have to be over complicated - keeping it simple if you're unsure is always going to have you looking smokin'. It also saves you looking back and thinking 'jeez what on Earth was I thinking?'

Lastly, this outfit adds a touch of folksy/boho vibes in there with this embroidered cropped jacket from Topshop (last year). Keeping it monochrome is also one of my safe go-to's. If you're looking up at switching your outfit, than there's nothing wrong with sticking to those black & white's to ease you into switching it up subtlety. These heels can make statement enough, with the cut out detail and lace up front. What I love about them is that the heel isn't so unbelievably high that you can bare walking (or dancing) around in these babies for that extra hour than usual. YES!

Which outfit is your favourite, One, Two or Three...? How would you switch up these styles?
