That 70's Style

Fedora : ASOS
Dress : ASOS
Boots : Shelly's London
Bag : Zara

I went out over the weekend and did the whole 'ahh I need something to wear for tomorrow, quick lets order something from Asos (making the most of my Asos premier, the life saver that is)' thing. I knew I wanted to wear a dress and ended up buying 4 of them. Yes, FOUR!

One of those four dresses, was this gorgeous oxblood, boho, seventies style smock dress. I instantly loved the overall over sized look of the dress - perfect for hiding those food babies - and the overhang of the sleeves over the cuffs. Not to mention the colour! I feel that as the sunny weather seems to have gone for good up North, I'm outfit planning for ahead and thinking of winter colours as opposed to making the most of my Summer frocks.

I've been loving the whole'70's style' that's around at the moment. I feel that it's something I can actually wear without feeling I'm showing too much flesh as most other dresses around right now are all boob & bum! The only bad thing about this dress is that it creases the moment you take it off the ironing board! :(

I styled this outfit with my trusty fedora & Shelly's London boots which are by far my fave pair of shoes. I really need to buy another pair of these as I know when they start to fall apart, I'll regret not investing!

Is anyone else planning their Winter attire already, or am I the only one?

Paris Outfit #3 Stripe It Up ft. Chi Chi London

Jumpsuit // Topshop   -   Waistcoat // LILY LULU   -   Fedora // ASOS   -   Shoes // Boohoo

As I was in Paris, it was only fitting that one of the days I was there I wore some black & white stripes. I just needed to replace my fedora for a beret hat and I would have practically passed as being French (so stereotypical I know, I apologise).

I managed to snap up this monochrome jumpsuit from Topshop just in time before another lady did! muahahaha! It's so comfy and literally feels like I'm wearing my Pj's! I teamed it with my good 'ol fedora & this lovely duster waistcoat from LILY LULU.

I was also very kindly gifted this Antonia bag by Chi Chi London and thought it tied in nicely with this outfit as it broke away from the whole monochrome vibe I had obviously gone for. I don't usually go for clutch bags, but the tassels got me (big lover of anything with tassels) and it's surprisingly roomy! I managed to fit my Olympus Pen in there quite comfortably too! It also comes with a cute golden chain so you can wear it hung off your shoulder and a little hidden zip just underneath the flap! Winning all round!

My post about what I got up to this day to follow! :)

Check It Out

Jumpsuit // ASOS    -     Fedora //  ASOS    -     Shoes // Dr. Martens    -      Bomber // Topshop

After what has been a very hectic few months, with working 2 jobs and all, I finally managed to snap some blog pics wearing this gorgeous grid/check print jumpsuit from ASOS.

I took a stroll around Fletcher Moss park in south Manchester and for the first time in almost a week it was nice weather! The gods were finally on my side! Hurray!

I bought this as my outfit for a little trip to Liverpool last week, but it sadly arrived a little too late that I had to buy an alternative to wear! I must admit though, it's so comfy and it compliments my figure really well, that I had to keep it no questions asked!

I teamed this outfit with my good ol' Dr. Martens, Topshop bomber jacket & ASOS fedora!
