Tie Dye For..

Tie Dye Tee - Bangkok
Ripped Hotpants - H&M
High Top Wedges - ASOS
Nails - Barry M

I didn't plan to do an outfit post today, it was just by chance my mum asked me to nip into town with her for a few bits and bobs and I jumped at the chance to get out the house and get ready and wear this top; as sitting at home for the past two days after a month of being a busy I needed to just get ready and go out - even if it was only for an hour or so!

Dip dye/Ombre & tie dye clothing have been around for quite some time now, but I didn't seem to warm to this trend quite so much until I found this tee which I bought from Bangkok! As soon as I found it, I fell in love as it merges the patterned pocket trend together too. The pocket is hand stitched by the lovely lady who I bought it from (for £5 - bargain!) which I feel makes it a little more personal and unique rather than buying it off a rack with 20 of the same behind it. I also love the pastel colours and the way they blend together so smoothly! I loved it so much, I used it as inspiration for my nails too!

These high top wedges I featured in a previous post of mine in which many of you asked for an OOTD, well here it is! They're quite mucky now (sorry) after being worn on many nights out! I find them to be super deceiving and I love it as they add an extra 4inches to my hight and only a few people ever notice as the heels are quite hidden! I'd really recommend them to anyone who loves extra height.

What are your favourite ombre pieces?

Leopard Love

Bandue Body - Asos
Leopard Print trousers - Forever 21
Beaded Charm bracelets - Asos
Circle embossed print earring - India
Beaded ankle boots - Urban Outfitters
Nails - Rimmel Emerald Green

As I mentioned in my previous post, I went shopping today with my friend Hannah for some last minute holiday purchases as I'm off to Thailand tomorrow & my friend Hannah is off to Marbs in just over a week and we we're both in need of new things! It's so exciting, everyone seems to be going away this year - and I really can't wait to come back really tanned and with lots of new clothes as Thailand is really really cheap and I know I won't be able to withhold my shopping addiction over there. Watch out people!

I bought these Leopard print trousers online from Forever 21 as an item that I really thought I'd return as they're not something I usually go for, but since trying them on I've fallen in in love! I usually live in tights and shorts/skirts so to wear trousers was pretty weird at first (especially as they're printed too, and I tend to shy away from printed things) but I think I may invest in some other designs similar to these as they're so easy to pair with tops and accessories.

My bracelet set is from my previous post/purchase (I told you they go with everything), and my earring were a gift from my friend Jenny when she went travelling in India last year - I literally wear these all the time as I wear a lot more gold jewellery than silver and these are my only set of gold earrings, yes, she chose well!

I think I made a very clever purchase from Urban Outfitters last year, as these little booties come in handy so much for in-between weather (it may look sunny in the photos, but I had to wear a cardi, it was so windy!). The beading on the shoes is really sturdy and after a year of wear, they're still intact! I managed to grab these beauties for only £20 - I wish I had bought them in cream now too.

I bought a few things today on my little shopping trip, I'll try doing a post later if I get chance inbetween packing for Thailand and stressing about all the things I've forgotten as I leave tomorrow! eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek. I'm scared.

Today I'm Wearing #2

Pink Denim Waistcoat - New Look
Pleated Floral Skirt - Oasis
Belt - Vero Moda
Shoes - New Look
Pocket Watch Necklace - Ebay
Bracelets - Links of Lonon, Shamballa & Friendship bracelet from Brazil
Nails - Gosh & Barry M
Lips - Loreal: Shocking Pink 202

What lovely weather we had today! For the first time this year I was able to step outside without a cardigan - it felt great!
I loved being able to wear something layered out of choice & not because I needed to keep warm. This little waistcoat of mine has been one of my fave wardrobe pieces since last summer as it seems to go with everything and is perfectly lightweight, so can even be worn during those hot & sweaty days. The skirt I stole from my sister about 4months ago & just never returned, along with several other items and took them to Leeds with me for during term time, yet I still have them all now I'm at home :)
So today I went clothes shopping with my Mother & Sister for my cousins wedding (which is next week eeeek). I've now found all my outfits and can't wait to get all dressed up! I always forget how much I love weddings (mainly the food - nom). I'll do some outfit posts of what I wore on the wedding in a few weeks, so keep posted!

Today I'm Wearing #1

Okay so I thought I'd do a little segment on 'What I'm Wearing'...
I'll be going through some of my favourite outfits and will be posting some pages of what other people are wearing so keep a look out for them!

Okay so today was just a typical winters day. Cold, raining on & off throughout the day and quite frankly.. dull. As I would be spending most of my time indoors (food shopping) wrapping up warm wasn't quite my first thought for my outfit...

Head to Toe

Head:  I'm wearing a Blue chunky knit headband with a large knot at the front from Asos. I love this purchase! It was in the sale for only £2! I decided to wear the knot at the side of my head instead of the front as show on the Asos models, and I feel it looks a little quirkier and less prominent. I shall be wearing this a lot over these cold winter days!

Body:  I'm wearing a Dandelion print petite playsuit, also from Asos with a brown skinny Vera Moda waist belt. The playsuit is actually in the style of a halter neck, which is what made me buy this item in the first place. It's great for nights out too!

Outer:  I'm wearing a black oversized cardigan from Zara with detailed cable knit around the front panels. It has little gold decorational buttons around the pockets! Such a cute piece of knitwear.

Shoes:  River Island snow boots. I bought these last winter, and even though they're suede, they've lasted me a great deal. I really did wear them through the snow & ice to test out their name & they have perfect grip!

Bag:  My beautiful Fossil bag! I first spotted this bag in summer at the Fossil store in Manchester & instantly fell in love but they retailed at £200! I was lucky enough to win the bag on Ebay with a winning big of just £30! BARGAIN!
