Jewelled Skull Tee

Tee - River Island
Studded Bandeau - DIY
Leggings - American Apparel
Denim Jacket - ASOS

I'd first of like to apologise for my squinty eyes and not so brilliant pictures. I was battling with 30mph wind and the brightest sunshine we've had for week. Although the sun was shining it was still super chilly and I had to layer up with an extra cardi under my jacket so I didn't freeze! This is the first time I've taken my pictures by myself using the timer option on my camera/on my tripod so I'm trying to get the hang of doing it all myself rather than calling my mum to press the shutter release constantly every time I want to do a blog post.

I forgot how much I love this tee. I bought it back in September to wear to Mint Festival in Leeds and haven't worn it since as I left it at home and never took it back to uni with me! Why I did that I don't know.. I remember seeing it hung up in store and drooling over it for weeks before I finally bit the bullet and bought it. Anything shiny always catches me eye, and combine that with skulls and its screams my name.

I do feel a little 80's in this outfit.. with the lycra leggings and bleached denim jacket combo, hello saved by the bell reject.

Early Birthday Treats

Shirt - Vero Moda
Leggings - American Apparel
Shoes - Little Boutique
Earrings - Asos & eBay
Eagle ring - Asos
Above Knuckle Ring - eBay
Necklace Pendant - eBay

I didn't actually wear this outfit out anywhere, and it's far too overdressed for the day time - I just really wanted to show you these beautiful heals my wonderful Mother got me as an early birthday treat! Now I'll never be able to afford the real Jeffrey Campbells, and my other suede version are pretty worn out, so when I saw these little beauties I just had to have them as replacements! They're honestly the comfiest style of heal to walk/dance/run/party in, & if you don't already own a pair, I highly suggest you run out & buy a pair as they're so versatile and go with almost anything!

I also bought this studded chiffon shirt a few weeks ago from Vero Moda but just haven't gotten around to doing an outfit post with it on! Its become a staple item in my wardrobe, and has come in handy literally so much since I bought it, such an investment - I love it!

I've also been thinking about opening a little online jewellery shop & wanted to hear your feedback before I did so. I made this little Hamsa Hand pendant necklace, and a few other items which I'll be posting about over the next few days. Yay or Nay, you guys tell me please!

I've had a busy couple of days and more still to come as I head for my approach back to Leeds for my third & final year at university, eeeeek, getting so old!

Oh look, Shiny!

Waistcoat Cardigan - Republic
Sleeveless Shirt - River Island
Leggings - American Apparel
Boots - New Look
Bracelet - Asos
Necklace - River Island

Today was a good day, you know why? I finally managed to wear my American Apparel high waisted leggings! Yaaaay!! I bought them over four months ago from Ebay  in error thinking they were the infamous Disco Pants but they turned out to be just the regular lyrca leggings. I can't say I'm complaining though, they're so comfortable and perfect to wear instead of tights (my usual leg wear) in this dull and dreary weather we have at the moment and today was perfect as the sun was hiding behind the clouds. I absolutely love them & I can say I'll be getting my fair share of wears out of these little beauts - I just love how they add a little glam to your outfit.

Believe it or not, but everything barring my super awesome AA leggings & Asos bracelet, the rest of my outfit was complied together with items from my wardrobe that I had bought over two years ago! I was slightly surprised myself when I realised that I've managed to keep things that have come back in style again (I love when that happens). Do you have any trusty items of clothing that you don't dare to throw out?

Bag the Bum? or Bum the Bag?

Yes, its true - the Bum Bag has reappeared from the deep depths of the 90s and its taking 2012 by storm! I have to admit, I was cringing a lot when I first spotted people sporting these unruly accessories again - but they have started to grow on me slightly, and lets face it, it is great having free hands to wave around.

Bum Bags have been creeping around since 2010 when Jordan and Miley Cyrus' Dad were first spotted wearing them. And after my recent travels to Thailand, I was forced into buying one for safety reasons (as they are many pick pockets around) - and it was since this little encounter that made me realise they are actually a very acceptable fashion accessory.

Unfortunately, not many high street brands have jumped on this fashion trend as of yet, but I would love to have this little beauty by Givenchy! Now thats what I call a stylish Bum Bag - I'm so glad someone has finally hit the nail on the head and created a super stylish Bum Bag! Now to just sit and wait for a High Street dupe please, I would definitely by one of those!
